Securitizing the Border: The Politics of the Border and the 9/11 Discourse in the US-Mexico Relations
- Author
- Ichim, Ioana Ileana
- Note
- For future research, it is recommended to consider more recent developments regarding border issues and security cooperation between the US and Mexico- these were beyond the scope of the present research- notably the public discourses and border policy advanced throughout the Trump administration. An academic research conducted in a similar constructivist style with the focus on border enforcement and US-Mexico relations during the Trump administration could contribute greatly to the expanding vast literature on North American security dynamics.
