Diplomatie in het Oude Nabije Oosten werd uitgevoerd door middel van giftuitwisselingen. Deze scriptie kijkt naar de rol die rytons (diervormige bekers) speelden in de diplomatie van Zimri-Lim en de manier waarop deze diplomatie invloed had op de verspreiding van de rytons.
