Socrates’ καθαροὶ λόγοι. De retorica van Plato’s Symposium

In deze scriptie tracht ik uiteen te zetten hoe Plato in het Symposium omgaat met de sympotische traditie, zoals die naar voren komt in de poëzie van, bijvoorbeeld, Theognis. Plato's houding ten opzichte van deze traditie laat zich uitleggen als een proces van adaptatie en appropriatie.
