Over boze wolven, windmolens en ijsklontjes: Een onderzoek naar de strategische manoeuvre op multimodale protestborden

Following the recent results in the study of multimodal argumentation, I examine, in my thesis, firstly, how multimodal arguments are constructed on protest signs and, secondly, how strategic maneuvering happens on protest signs. Composing a corpus of Dutch protest signs, and using a pragma-dialectical approach I discuss the ways in which argumentative moves are multimodally constructed and how various aspects of strategic maneurering manifest.
