This thesis critically examines the conceptual and practical intersections between Buddhist philosophy and Positive Psychology concerning the promotion of well-being and the alleviation of human suffering. Buddhism, through its foundational doctrines such as the Four Noble Truths, the Eightfold Path, and the doctrine of Anatman, emphasizes the release of attachments and the cultivation of mindfulness, loving-kindness, and compassion as transformative practices.
