Re-understanding Cosmopolitanism. Hermeneutics of diversity in a pluralist society

In this paper I argue that the only way to eliminates cross-cultural conflicts is an hermeneutic dialogue based on the triad curiosty, dialogue and transformation. The cross/cultural dialogue is initiated by the cosmopolitan irtue of curiosity, and does not aim at reaching an agreement between different cultures, but to be able to acknowledge each other's existence, a recognition that stems fro the acceptance of what is different from us
