Effectiveness of the Botaiho

The Japanese government had several reasons to establish and implement the Botaiho law in 1992. This thesis investigates the effectiveness of this law by both looking at the effects on the boryokudan and the Japanese society. Also, this thesis aims to describe why the Botaiho is formulated and established this particular way.
