Tense ties in the Andes? The nature of the political relation between Chile and Bolivia through a framework of pragmatism and ideology

This thesis consists of a chronological reproduction of the bilateral relation between Chile and Bolivia, commencing with the Saltpetre War in the 19th century. Throughout the bilateral events, a framework of Ideology and Pragmatism is applied in order to analyse the nature of the political relation.
