- Despite the exhaustive research and empirical findings demonstrated within this research, more study and scrutiny is needed in order to prove the line of argumentation sustained by the author. It is surely expected that, within the following decade, each of these three factors explored will highly augment and strenghten in Southeast Asia. With a higher Internet penetration and a more affluent and tech-savvy consumer base, Southeast Asia as a whole will experience a significant growth in consumer spending, as well as a shift in the manner in which shopping is performed.
