- The thesis examines the role of the foreign actors in the Syrian war and the power dynamics in the middle east during the Syrian war. it focuses on the role of the US , Russia , Iran , Turkey, KSA, Qatar, ISIS, al Nusra , Hezbollah , and internal actors like SAA and FSA. As a result, depending on the developments during the Syrian civil war, the paper stresses that the world is moving from a unipolar power dynamics to multipolar order wherein the regional and emerging powers play a more intensive role.
