Social Media and The Rise of Youth Political Participation in Democratic Indonesia

The increasing number of young and first-time voters on the current election shows the significant role of young people in determining the future of the country. The level of political involvement within a country has a significant impact on every aspect of its citizen's lives, especially when discussing the youth in a particular society. This phenomenon occurs elsewhere in the world, especially with the enormous progress of communication and information technology. As such, youth are becoming increasingly involved in political developments in their respective regions, including within Indonesia.
