Using Faucult and Said as guideline for the analysis of the political cartooons and utilising "framing" theories taken from media and communication studies as method of analysis, aim of the research is not only to understand what image of the "West"is being produced by the Lebanese media, but also what historical, social and cultural factors have played a role in formulating that image.Show less
