By studying the cases of three Chinese firms operating in Brazil and Argentina, this thesis found very limited evidence of objectives being set by the firms aiming to close the cultural gap between both cultures. Only Huawei and ICBC Brazil displayed some consideration of the GLOBE dimensions. Findings suggest that cultural intelligence is not being employed to better cross-cultural mediation between the Chinese subsidiaries and their local workforce.Show less
