This essay suggests that The Second Sex is in fact still relevant, since De Beauvoir’s The Second Sex is compatible with the concept of intersectionality. This essay demonstrates that The Second Sex is a work of queer phenomenology and, therefore, serves the same disorienting function as intersectionality regarded as a provisional concept.Show less
